MADISON, S.D. -- Bellevue University junior Andre Becerra and senior Kim Moore were recognized by the North Star Athletic Association as the NSAA's Men's and Women's Golfer of the Week, respectively, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
Becerra helped Bellevue to the team title in the 18-team Wildcat Cup at the Brickyard. He finished fourth among individual after posting back-to-back even-par scores of 72 at the 6,205-yard Brickyard Crossing.
Moore earned a 23rd-place finish with 154 strokes (+10) in the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic. She posted a first round score of 80 (+2) and improved her score to 74 (+2) in the second round to help BU to a ninth-place finish in the 19-team field.
Both the men's and women's teams will compete at the NSAA Championships on Monday-Tuesday, Apr. 29-30 at the Platteview Country Club in Bellevue, Neb.
