POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- The Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced the Spring 2013 Scholar-Athletes and 13 Bellevue University athletes earned the honor in an announcement made by the conference office on Wednesday, June 26.
The Bruins earning the academic honor included:

- Bryce Kelly, Baseball
- Robert Greco, Baseball
- Kristin Burhenne, Softball
- Emily Hester, Softball
- Katie Tew, Softball
- Alyssa Matoba, Softball
- Amanda Neumann, Softball
- Mike Hannon, Men's Golf
- Christina VonRiesen, Women's Golf
- Jayme Harmelink, Women's Golf
To earn MCAC Scholar-Athlete honors, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore, own a 3.25 cumulative grade point average or higher, and have completed at least two semesters at their present institution.
