Dawn Danley rejoins the Bellevue University volleyball coaching staff in 2013 as an assistant coach for her third season overall.

Danley, who coached at Bellevue from 2007-08, helped lead the Bruins to a 59-20 overall record including back-to-back conference regular season and tournament championships.

Prior to coaching at Bellevue, Danley was an assistant at College of Saint Mary for nine seasons where she helped build the Flames into a top 10 team including a final four appearance in the NAIA National Tournament in 2000.

Danley was a four-year starter at the University of Nebraska at Omaha for head coach Rose Shires where she earned academic all-North Central Conference honors while also being selected as a Strength and Conditioning All-American in 1993.

She graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from UNO.

Danley lives in Omaha with her husband, Mike, and children Elle (12) and Jacob (9).

In addition to her coaching duties at Bellevue, Danley also works at Leo A. Daly as a civil engineer.
