Minnesota setter Jada Nunn signs with BU Volleyball for 2022

Bellevue University head volleyball coach Trish Siedlik announced today the signing of 5-11 setter Jada Nunn (Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury HS) to a letter of intent to continue her athletic and academic careers at BU beginning in the fall of 2022.

Nunn, the daughter of Jennifer Nunn, prepped at Woodbury High School under coach Brad English. She was a two-time team captain while twice earning first team all-conference honors in helping her squad to a second-place conference finish in both her junior and senior seasons.

Nunn played club volleyball for Kokoro Volleyball Club under coaches RT Luczak and Linnea Wallis.

"We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Jada, a player who has untapped athleticism and potential, and the ability to make a major impact within the Bruin volleyball program," said Siedlik. "Because of her coachability and enthusiasm for the game, she has endless opportunities for growth. The setter role is one of the most important roles, and we are confident that Jada will learn the ropes quickly and raise the level of play and competitiveness in our gym."

Nunn joins earlier signees 6-1 MB Chloe Cloud (Grand Island, Neb./Grand Island Central Catholic HS), 5-10 OH/MB McKenzie Polk (North Platte, Neb./North Platte HS), 5-4 L/DS specialist Audrey Sandfort (Brock, Neb./Johnson-Brock HS) in the 2022 recruiting class, and 5-10 outside hitter Ryen Hawkey (Tea, S.D./Tea Area HS).

The Bruins have also added transfers Allie Kerns, a 6-0 outside/rightside hitter from Omaha, Neb. (Missouri Western/Millard North HS), and 6-1 rightside hitter Rosa Reed-Bouley from Omaha, Neb. (College of St. Mary/Bellevue/Omaha Gross HS).
