ABERDEEN, S.D. -- The 11th-ranked Bellevue University volleyball team hit a blistering .363 as the Bruins swept Presentation College Thursday night in North Star Athletic Association action at the Strode Center. Bellevue won by scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-22. 

The Bruins improved to 10-2 on the season and 2-0 in the NSAA with the victory. It also marked BU's third consecutive 3-0 sweep. PC dropped to 10-4 overall and 0-2 in league play. 

Freshman outside hitter Eve Fountain paced the Bruins with 16 kills and 15 digs. It marked her team-leading eighth double-double of the season. 

Freshman middle blocker Haley Fleischman hit .444 with 10 kills. 

Junior Sierra Athen pounded nine kills on .400 hitting while Sienna Black and Jacki Apel each chipped in with seven kills apiece. Apel's seven kills all came in the third set as she hit .500 with just one error in 12 swings.  

Junior setter Olivia Galas dished out 52 assists and added five digs and four kills in the win.

Freshman libero Taylan Keefer contributed with 15 digs and a service ace. 

The Saints were paced by Constence Rollins and Saige Jones who had eight and seven kills respectively. Laura Babcock led the PC defense with 19 digs.  

The Bruins used mid-set runs in each of the three sets en route to the victory. 

BU overcame a four-point deficit in the third set, hitting .487 in the third frame with 21 kills and just two errors in 39 swings. The Bruins hit .400 in the second set and recorded just seven hitting errors in the final two sets.  

The Bruins will travel to Mayville, N.D. on Friday (Sept. 24) for a 6 p.m. NSAA matchup at Mayville State University.
