MCPHERSON, Kan. -- The Bellevue University volleyball team won its fourth-consecutive match in straight sets after a pair of wins at Central Christian College on Saturday in Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference action at the Ed Pyle Sports Complex.

Bellevue (16-3, 4-0 MCAC) took the opener 25-6, 25-12, 25-9 before defeating Central Christian (2-9, 0-4 MCAC) 25-10, 25-15, 25-18 in the finale.

BU is 24-0 all-time against the Tigers.

The 15th-ranked Bruins will travel to Salina, Kan. today for a 4:00 p.m. contest versus McPherson College and a 6:00 p.m. match at Kansas Wesleyan University at the KWU Triangular.

Match 1: Bellevue 3, Central Christian 0

The Tigers hit -.135 with 22 hitting errors and six service errors as the Bruins cruised to the 25-6, 25-12, 25-9 victory.

BU was led offensively by Sydney DeBoer's match-high 11 kills on .733 hitting.

Annie Benson notched eight kills, nine digs and two service aces while Caitlyn Rueth added seven kills.

Beth Walker guided the Bruins to a .397 hitting percentage with 29 assists and four digs.

Symone Faulkner tallied five block assists while Sunny Bell registered four. The duo also recorded five kills each.

The Bruins finished with seven service aces and seven total blocks.

Match 2: Bellevue 3, Central Christian 0

Despite hitting just .128, the Bruins completed the doubleheader sweep against the Tigers.

Bridgette Baden paced the offense with seven kills, eight digs and a pair of blocks.

Courtney Hendricks notched a season-best six kills on .455 hitting and also added four block assists.

Walker registered 26 assists, eight digs and two blocks.

Libero Meghan Evans anchored the defense with a match-high nine digs.

The Tigers hit -.181 with 24 errors. BU has now held its last three opponents to a negative attacking percentage.
