BELLEVUE, Neb. -- The 15th-ranked Bellevue University volleyball team posted a convincing 25-10, 25-13, 25-12 sweep against College of St. Mary Tuesday night at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center in Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference action. 

Bellevue has now won seven-straight matches and improved to 14-3 overall and 2-0 in the MCAC while College of St. Mary fell 9-8 and 1-1 in league play.

Eight different Bruins tallied a kill and were led by Annie Benson's 10 on .421 hitting. Benson also added seven digs and two service aces.

Beth Walker recorded 34 assists, six digs and two blocks while libero Meghan Evans anchored the defense with a match-high 20 digs.

BU hit .319 for the match and held the Flames to a hitting percentage of -.076. The Bruins hit better than .300 in each set and trailed just once in the match.

CSM was led by Mallory Babic's nine digs and five kills.

The Bruins will travel to Kansas on Saturday, Sept. 21 with matches against Central Christian College, McPherson College and Kansas Wesleyan University.
