Trio named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes
SIOUX CITY, Iowa - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that a total of 387 volleyball players have been named 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Volleyball Scholar-Athletes. Three Bruins were named to the exclusive team, including seniors Katy Gregory and Jaclyn Thorson, and junior Maureen Wardian.

Nominated by each institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved junior academic status to qualify.

The Bruins finished the 2010 season with a 34-14 overall record, a 15-1 MCAC mark, the MCAC Tournament title and the program's fourth-straight appearance at the NAIA Volleyball National Championship.
