ORANGE CITY, Iowa -- Fourth-ranked Azusa Pacific scored a 3-0 (25-17, 26-24, 25-15) sweep over No. 11 Bellevue University Saturday morning at the Red Raider Volleyball Classic at Northwestern College.
The loss dropped the Bruins to 2-1 on the season, while APU improved to 5-2 overall.
Bellevue was led by sophomore Maureen Wardian who notched a team-high 10 kills and three blocks.
Defensively, the Bruins were paced by Gabby Pfannenstiel's 16 digs and one service ace. Junior libero Katy Gregory added 13 digs
BU will conclude the tournament with a 1 p.m. match against Black Hills State.
