Women's Soccer announces signing of Miranda

BELLEVUE, Neb. -- The Bellevue University women's soccer team, under head coach Tom White, announced today the signing of Angela Miranda (Omaha, Neb./Bryan HS) to a National Letter of Intent to continue her academic and athletic careers at Bellevue beginning this fall.

Miranda is the daughter of Paul Schnitker and Clides Miranda. She is currently a senior at Bryan High School where she captained the team as a senior.

She lettered all four years at Bryan and was picked to the all-Metro team in 2018.

Coach White on Miranda:

"It's great to bring in another player from Bryan High School. Angela will add more to our attacking options. She will be a key figure and a great character to add to the roster.

Miranda joins earlier signees Maddy Vasquez (Omaha, Neb.), Alanis Neely (Council Bluffs, Iowa), Kaycee Driever (Nebraska City, Neb.), Jaedyn Tryon (Omaha, Neb.), Abril Mendez (Omaha, Neb.), and Amelia Paiz-Garcia (Canton, Ga.) in the Bruins' 2019 recruiting class.

Bellevue finished the 2019 season with a 10-5-0 overall record, marking BU's 15th-straight season with at least 10 victories, and qualified for the A.I.I. Tournament.
