Nicolarsen inks Neri in 2018 signing class

Bellevue University head women's soccer coach Andy Nicolarsen announced today the signing of Nancy Neri (Omaha, Neb./South HS) to a Letter of Intent to compete for the Bruins during the upcoming fall season.

Neri was a four-year varsity letterwinner under coach Jill Adler at Omaha South High School. She played club soccer for coach Arturo Ochoa with Club Viva and this past season with the Metro Wolves under coach Gauthier Scherlizin.

She plans to major in Health Science at BU.

"Nancy is a composed player with a very good natural feel for the game," said Nicolarsen. "Her athleticism and soccer IQ will help her grow into a solid contributor. I look forward to getting her into the practice environment and having her in the program."

Dundee joins six earlier signees in the 2018 class: Faith Smith (Madison Heights, Va./Liberty University), Sofia Colvin (Edmonds, Wash./Iowa Western CC), Saskia Pepel (Mossingen, Germany/Quenstendt-Gymnasium Mossingen), Maria Flores Tome (Malaga, Spain/Baker), Jacy Dundee (Omaha, Neb./Central HS)  and Alexis Tolliver (Springfield, Neb./Platteview HS).

The Bruins finished the 2017 campaign with an 11-5-0 overall record and a 3-1-0 NSAA mark as they advanced to the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Tournament semifinals.
