Bruin head women's soccer coach Andy Nicolarsen announced today the signing of Jacy Dundee (Omaha, Neb./Central HS) to a National Letter of Intent to continue her athletic and academic careers at Bellevue University beginning in the fall of 2018.

Originally from Freeport, Ill., Dundee earned two letters at Freeport High School before moving to Omaha and joining the Central Eagles where she lettered her junior and senior seasons. As a freshman at Freeport, Dundee helped guide the team to its first-ever Regional Championship.  Currently this season, at Central, she has recorded nine goals and nine assists prior to the District Tournament.

As a junior, she earned all-state honorable mention honors.  Academically, Dundee has been an honor roll student all four years both at Freeport and at Central High School.

"I am thrilled to have Jacy with us next fall," said Nicolarsen. "She is a competitive, athletic, attack-minded player with a solid foundation of skill.  Once she gets comfortable and adjusts to the college level, she will have an impact on the field."

Dundee joins five earlier signees in the 2018 class: Faith Smith (Madison Heights, Va./Liberty University), Sofia Colvin (Edmonds, Wash./Iowa Western CC), Saskia Pepel (Mossingen, Germany/Quenstendt-Gymnasium Mossingen), Maria Flores Tome (Malaga, Spain/Baker), and Alexis Tolliver (Springfield, Neb./Platteview HS).

BU finished the 2017 season with an 11-5-0 overall record and a 3-1-0 NSAA mark as they reached the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Tournament semifinals.
