BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Senior Michelle Dolder and sophomore Kylie Taylor both scored a goal and sophomore Laurence Rodier posted a shutout to lead the Bellevue University women's soccer team to a 2-0 victory over No. 13 Hastings College on Sunday afternoon at Bellevue Soccer Club.

Dolder was active all day, creating for herself and her teammates, wreaking havoc along the touch line but her strike came off junior Karina Alvarez's creativity. Off a set piece Alvarez received a pass along the near side that she played to the far side of the 18-yard box to the feet of Dolder who blasted a one-timer into the back of the net for a 1-0 BU advantage in the 26th minute.

Bellevue saw the immediate benefit from attacking with the win at their back in the second half. In the 48th minute senior Betsy Fischenich laid a pass off to Taylor who unleashed a long, high shot from 30-yards out which hit off the keeper's gloves and rolled into the back of the net.

By posting their fifth shutout in as many matches, the Bruins saw their shutout streak extend to 484 minutes and 26 seconds. That streak has seen the Bruins blank Northwestern (2-0), Sterling (2-0), Bethany (3-0), Midland (4-0), and now Hastings (2-0).

Bellevue put 10 of their 15 shots on target while Hastings struggled to put just two of their 11 shots on frame. Rodier, in her third straight start, made a pair of saves to extend her personal shutout streak to better than 363 minutes, not conceding a goal since the season-opener at Grace (Ind.).

The match was a physical affair which saw Hastings called for 17 fouls and Bellevue called for 11. The Bruins held an 8-5 advantage in corner kicks.

The 16th-ranked Bruins (6-2-0) next play on Saturday, Oct. 3 when they host (RV) Viterbo at noon at Bellevue Soccer Club.
