BELLEVUE, Neb. -- The No. 15 Bellevue University women's soccer team lost a 1-0 match at No. 15 Grace College (Ind.) in Winona Lake, Ind. on Saturday evening. The match was the season-opener for both sides.

Mallory Rondeau scored an 87th minute goal, unassisted, to account for all of the offense in the match.

Grace finished the match with a 14-6 advantage in shots (9-2 shots on goal). Senior Michelle Dolder and junior Victoria Perez accounted for Bellevue's shots on Grace's Abby Schue. The Bruins were able to manage to gain a 5-2 edge in corner kicks for the match. Senior Kate Petersen finished the night with two shots to lead BU.

Sophomore Laurence Rodier got the start in net for the Bruins, stopping seven of the eight shots on goal that she faced. The team accounted for the other save.

Bellevue (0-1-0) returns to action when they travel to Seward, Neb. for a 5:30 match with No. 21 Concordia on Saturday, Aug. 29.
