BELLEVUE, Neb. - Four Bellevue University men's soccer players have been named to the Omaha World-Herald All-Nebraska Soccer Team while four others earned Honorable Mention status.

Seniors Mercy Darkoah (Sheffield, England) and Yaritza Estrada (Omaha, Neb.), junior Kate Petersen (Springfield, Neb.), and freshman Laurence Rodier (Quebec, Canada) were each named to the All-Nebraska Team. Juniors Aubriana Batchelor (Bellevue, Neb.) and Betsy Fischenich (Omaha, Neb.), sophomore Lauren Clark (Portsmouth, England), and freshman Kristin Hanson (Bellevue, Neb.) each earned Honorable Mention.

Bellevue, under the direction of MCAC Coach of the Year Andy Nicolarsen, finished this season with an overall record of 16-2-0 including going 6-0-0 in MCAC play on their way to claiming both the MCAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships.

The team advanced to the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round for the fifth straight season.
