BELLEVUE, Neb. - Fresh off their 2014 MCAC Tournament Championships the Bellevue University men's and women's soccer teams now know their opponents for the Opening Round of the 2014 NAIA National Tournament.
The No. 17 Bellevue women (16-1-0/6-0-0 MCAC) will travel to Irvine, Calif. to take on No. 25 Concordia University Irvine (11-7-1/5-4-1 GSAC). The game is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m. (1:00 p.m. PST). It will be the first meeting all-time between Bellevue and Concordia, who earned an at-large bid to the tournament.
The No. 14 Bellevue men (14-2-2/5-0-0 MCAC) will stay in-state and travel to Hastings to take on No. 8 Hastings College (17-2-2/9-0-1 GPAC). The game is scheduled to start at 5:00 p.m. It will be the 11th meeting all-time between the two schools. Bellevue leads the all-time series, which dates back to 1996, with a record of 5-4-1. Hastings won the lone post-season match-up between the two schools by a score of 3-2 in the 2002 Region IV Tournament.
