Aubriana Batchelor recorded an assist and led the BU defensive effort in a 3-1 win over Waldorf

BELLEVUE, Neb. - Bellevue junior Aubriana Batchelor (Bellevue, Neb.) has been named the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference women's soccer Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference.
It is the first time that Batchelor has won the award.
Batchelor, for the second week in a row, was Bellevue's (14-1-0) defensive star. The defensive midfielder assisted on the Bruins' final goal of a 3-1 victory over Waldorf and anchored a defense that yielded just seven shots (three on goal) to the Warriors.
Bellevue's next match will be Saturday against the College of Saint Mary in an MCAC semi-final at a time yet to be determined.
