The Bruin women's soccer program under head coach Andy Nicolarsen announced today the signing of Laurence Rodier from Quebec, Canada to a letter of intent to compete for Bellevue University starting this fall.

Rodier is the daughter of Anny Mayer and Rene Rodier and sister to Simon. She is currently finishing her final year of high school at College Saint-Sacrement in Quebec.  Rodier has played the last two seasons for AS Blainville in the Ligue de Soccer elite du Quebec under coach Jean-Pierre Ceriani.

"We are very pleased to have Laurence join the team next season," said Nicolarsen. "She is a solid goal keeper, a very good teammate and a great addition to the program.  She will give us more depth and experience in goal."

Bellevue ended the 2013 season with a 10-8-3 overall record, winning the MCAC Tournament championship, while advancing to the NAIA National Tournament for the fourth-straight season.
