Bellevue University head women's soccer coach Andy Nicolarsen announced today the signing of Jessica Swanwick of Uttoxeter, England to a letter of intent to join the Bruin women's soccer program next season.

Swanwick is currently attending Thomas Alleynes High School in Uttoxeter, England. She plays her club soccer for Stoke City Ladies in the Premier League North. Stoke City was the Midland Combination League and Cup champions in the 2012-2013 season.

"Jess is a talented player with a solid level of skill and soccer knowledge," said Nicolarsen. "She will be a great addition to the program and will adjust to the college game here in the states very well. We are excited to have her on the team."

Swanwick is the daughter of Steve and Michelle Swanwick.

Bellevue ended the 2013 season with a 10-8-3 overall record, winning the MCAC Tournament championship, while advancing to the NAIA National Tournament for the fourth-straight season.
