Bruin head women's soccer coach Andy Nicolarsen announced today that Kylie Taylor has committed to play soccer for the Bellevue University women's soccer team this coming fall.

Taylor plays her club soccer for Phoenix FC under coach Rick Esparza and plays high school soccer for head coach Gaut Schlerizin at Bellevue West. She is an honor roll student, a four-year varsity player and a central figure on the Thunderbirds' 2013 state tournament team.

"Kylie is a physically strong player with great quickness, she is very good at winning the ball and maintaining possession in the midfield," said Nicolarsen. "She also has an outstanding work rate. The effort that she brings to the team will be a huge asset to the program and will help her develop into a great player."

Taylor is currently a senior at Bellevue West and is the daughter of Scott Taylor and Carol Edgren Taylor and sister to Hunter.

Bellevue ended the 2013 season with a 10-8-3 overall record, winning the MCAC Tournament championship, while advancing to the NAIA National Tournament for the fourth-straight season.
