POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- For the third time this season and the sixth time in her career, junior goal keeper Caitlin Stier has been named the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 4.

Stier notched her fifth shutout of the season last Saturday (Nov. 3), helping the Bruins advance to the MCAC Tournament championship game with a 1-0 win over Central Baptist College. She registered two saves while playing all 90 minutes in goal.

Stier has an 11-3-1 record on the season with a 0.92 goals against average.

Bellevue (12-3-1, 6-0-1 MCAC) will host Oklahoma Wesleyan University this Saturday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. in the MCAC Tournament title game at Tranquility Park. The winner of that match will receive an automatic berth into the NAIA National Tournament.
