OMAHA, Neb. -- Jenica Bloom's second career hat trick lifted the Bellevue University women's soccer team to a 4-0 win against College of Saint Mary in Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference action Saturday afternoon at Tranquility Park.

Bellevue has now won seven-straight matches to improve to 11-3-0 overall and 6-0-0 in the conference. The Bruins also snapped CSM's six-game winning streak as the Flames fell to 9-8-0 and 5-1-0 in the MCAC.

Bloom, who also recorded three goals against Mills College last season, opened the scoring 14:46 into the match when she took a shot from the left side of the box off a pass from Yaritza Estrada to take an early 1-0 lead.

Bloom netted her second goal of the first period in the 24th minute to give the Bruins a 2-0 advantage at halftime.

The junior added her third goal of the match in the 60th minute. Bloom, who recorded the overtime game-winner against Waldorf College on Oct. 17, leads the team with nine goals this season.

Estrada ended the game's scoring with a goal with just over four minutes remaining in the contest to give BU the 4-0 win.

The Bruins outshot the Flames by a 20-11 margin, including a 13-6 edge in shots on goal.

Caitlin Stier (10-3-0) picked up the win, stopping all five shots in goal for BU. Courtney Smith took the loss for the Flames, falling to 7-7-0 this year.

Bellevue hosts Oklahoma Wesleyan next Saturday (Oct. 27) at 12 p.m. in the final regular season game of the season.
