Anderson earns Defensive Player of the Week nod

POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- Senior defender Morgan Anderson has been named this week's Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference's women's soccer Defensive Player of the Week announced by the league office on Monday, Oct. 31.

Anderson, last year's co-Defensive Player of the Year, anchored the Bruins' defense that earned a 0-0 double-overtime draw at Oklahoma Wesleyan University last week to grab a share of MCAC regular season title.

The Bruins finished the regular season with a 12-1-3 overall record and a 5-0-1 league record. BU will host the conference tournament Friday-Saturday, Nov. 4-5.
