A native of Bellevue, Neb., Shuman led a Bruin defense that did not allow a goal in two matches last week, including a scoreless draw at NCAA Divsion II University of Sioux Falls and a 1-0 win over York College on Oct. 15.
This marks the second time Shuman has earned the weekly conference honor, she was also named the Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 19
The Bruins are 10-1-2 overall and are 3-0 in MCAC action.
