OMAHA, Neb. -- The Bellevue University women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw with Northwestern (Iowa) College Saturday night at South High School.
Bellevue moves to 7-1-1 on the season. Northwestern is 2-5-3 on the year after the tie.
The Bruins outshot the Raiders 23-9 and held a 10-3 advantage on shots on goal.
The Raiders' goalkeeper Wendy Hofmeyer collected 10 saves. Caitlin Stier registered three saves for Bellevue.
Yaritza Estrada led BU with five shots, four on goal.
The Bruins will open conference play on Wednesday, Oct. 5, when they travel across town to College of St. Mary for a 4 p.m. match with the Flames.
