OMAHA, Neb. -- Senior Erika Roberts scored the game's only goal in the 69th minute to push the Bellevue University women's soccer team past the University of Sioux Falls, 1-0, Saturday afternoon at Tranquility Park.
The Bruins have won five-straight matches, improving to 8-3 on the season, while USF fell to 6-4-2 overall.
Erika Roberts scored her third goal of the season from the top of the box at 68:18 to give the Bruins a 1-0 advantage, in what proved to be the game winner.
Ana Price improved to 7-2 on the season, recording her third shutout while playing all 90 minutes in goal.
Bellevue outshot the Cougars 16-6 and held a 5-1 advantage in shots on goal.
The Bruins will return to Tranaquility Park on Sunday (Oct. 10) for a 1 p.m. match against Southwestern Christian University.
