SIOUX CITY, Iowa -- Junior Morgan Anderson scored on an unassisted goal in the 25th minute of the first half to give the Bellevue University women's soccer team a 1-0 win at Morningside College Tuesday night.
With the win, the Bruins improved to 7-3 on the season, while the Mustangs dropped to 2-7-1 overall.
Freshman goalkeeper Ana Price improved to 6-2 on the season, recording her third shutout, while playing all 90 minutes in goal, collecting three saves.
Bellevue outshot Morningside 8-5 and held a 4-3 edge in shots on goal.
The Bruins return home to Tranquility Park on Saturday, Oct. 9 for a 3 p.m. contest against the University of Sioux Falls.
