No. 7 Graceland shuts out Bruins, 6-0

LAMONI, Iowa -- Seventh-ranked Graceland University used four goals by Gisela Arrieta to power past Bellevue University, 6-0, in non-conference women's soccer action Monday night.

After two weather delays, the game was called official in the 83rd minute

Shannon Scarlett and Shay Eskridge also scored goals for the Yellowjackets, who held a 21-4 advantage in shots and a 10-2 margin in shots on goal.

Bruin goalkeepers Ana Price and Sarah Boone both allowed three goals, while each recorded a pair of saves.

Redshirt freshman Jenica Bloom registered the Bruins only two shots on goal for the night.

Bellevue is 0-1 on the season after having their season opener with Doane suspended at halftime due to lightning and rain. A makeup date for that match has not been set.

The Bruins will head to Sioux City, Iowa on Wednesday, Sept. 8 for a 5 p.m. non-conference match at Briar Cliff.
