BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Bellevue University head women's soccer coach Andy Nicolarsen announced today the signing of Sarah Hauxwell (Ralston, Neb./Ralston HS) to a letter of intent to join the Bruins’ soccer program this fall.

Hauxwell is the daughter of Sophia and Rex Hauxwell and will join the Bruins after a standout career at Ralston High School where she started on the varsity soccer team her first three seasons before suffering a knee injury that sidelined her for her senior season.

In her time at RHS, she was an academic all-conference player, a four-year honor roll student, a senior class officer and a member of the student council.

“Sarah had an outstanding playing career a Ralston and has been a big part of its success on the field which will help her adjust to the college game,” said coach Nicolarsen. “We are thrilled to bring in a student-athlete that can help us on the soccer field and will have success in the classroom as well. ”
