Hester signs with Bellevue women's soccer
Bellevue head women's soccer coach \#Andy Nicolarsen\# announced the signing today of Emily Hester (Cedar Falls, Iowa/Cedar Falls HS) to a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic careers at Bellevue University beginning in the fall of 2010.

Hester, a four-year letterwinner and team captain in soccer at Cedar Falls HS, earned first team all-Metro and all-Mississippi Valley Conference honors in 2008 and 2009, under coach Troy Becker.

"The Bruins are very excited for Emily’s commitment to the program," said Nicolarsen. "She demonstrates excellent leadership, is very involved in community-based activities and is an excellent soccer player."

She played four years of club soccer with FC Midwest under coach Josh Printz

An excellent student, Hester was named to her school's Honor Roll all through high school and junior high.

"Primarily a defensive player, she will definitely challenge for time next year for the Bruins and will further strengthen the returning defensive corps," added Nicolarsen.

Hester is the daughter of Jack and Sherry Hester.
