Saifoloi tied for 34th after third round at Nationals

SILVIS, Ill. -- Senior Tylah Saifoloi carded a 13-over-par score of 84 and is now in a tie for 34th place entering Friday's fourth and final round of the 2023 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship. The four-day, 72-hole tournament is being played at the 5,813-yard, par-71 TPC at Deere Run. 

Saifoloi's third round was highlighted by birdies on the second and 14th holes. She also had six pars on the day.

The University of British Columbia regained the lead in the team race after shooting a 14-over total of 298. UBC is 51-over par for the tournament. 

Second-round leader Keiser University dipped to second after registering a 30-over score of 314 to put the Seahawks at 66-over after three rounds of play.  

Hannah Ulibarri of The Master's University took a three-stroke lead in the individual race after posting a 3-over par score of 74. She is now 6-over par for the tournament.

Keiser's Hoi Ki Lau fired the top round on the day with a 1-under 70. She is tied for second with Oklahoma City's MaKayla Tyrrell at 9-over par.  

Saifoloi, who is now 23-over par for the tournament, will tee off at 7:30 a.m. in Friday's final round.
