KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Bellevue University senior Allison Temple has been recognized as an NAIA Third Team All-American by the NAIA Women's Golf Coaches' Association All-America Committee.
A total of 45 student-athletes earned All-America honors with 15 comprising each the first, second, and third teams.
Temple, a five-time NSAA Golfer of the Week, and two-time first team all-NSAA selection placed 25th at last week's NAIA National Championships. After shooting 2-over through the first two rounds of play, Temple found herself firmly inside the top 10 to make the individual cut.
For the season, Temple played in a team-high 22 rounds and posted a 78.95 scoring average. She notched a trio of top-five finishes over the 10 events in which she competed, including winning the Midland Invitational. She helped lead the Bruins to their fourth NSAA Championship and the program's seventh appearance in the NAIA National Tournament.
