ONALASKA, Wis. -- Dominika Gradecka won the individual title by 17 strokes to lead the Bellevue University women's golf team to the North Star Athletic Association Championship held at the par-71, 5,842-yard Cedar Greek Golf Course.
Gradecka followed up her first round 70 by carding a 3-over 74 on Tuesday to defeat teammates Allison Temple and Shanice DeGee for the individual title with a 2-over 144 score for the tournament.
DeGee and Temple each shot 161 (+19) for the tournament to share second place honors.
Tylah Saifoloi was the Bruins fourth golfer. She backed up her first round 81 with a second round 86 to finish the tournament at 167 (+25).
As a team Bellevue, claimed a comfortable 62-stroke victory over second place host Viterbo. BU shot 633 (312-321) as a team while the V-Hawks edged out Dickinson State for second, 695-699.
For Bellevue, it was their seventh conference tournament championship (2013-17, 2019, 2021) overall and fourth in the NSAA (2016, 2017, 2018, 2021).
With the victory, Bellevue qualifies for the 2021 NAIA National Tournament to be held from May 25-28 at Rose Creek Golf Course in Oklahoma City, Okla.
