COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa -- In her first competition as a Bruin, senior Dominika Gradecka finished in second place at the Iowa Western Intercollegiate Showcase being played at the 5,805-yard, par-72 Bent Tree Golf Course.
Gradecka produced an identical score to Monday's first round with a 2-over 74 to finish 4-over in the 35-player tournament.
Her round was highlighted by three birdies.
Iowa Western's Luisa Gibson won the individual title by one stroke with rounds of 74 and 73.
Morningside won the team title at 52-over par, finishing four strokes ahead of Nebraska-Omaha. The Bruins did not field a team score.
Bellevue will next compete on Oct. 12-13 when they travel to Oklahoma City for the Sydney Cox Invitational.
