COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa -- Allison Temple and Madison Brooks are the individual co-leaders and all four Bellevue University golfers posted top-five scores as the Bruins sit comfortably atop the team leaderboard at the Bent Tree Intercollegiate.

Bellevue (+50) saw all four of their golfers post scores in the top five on Monday as the Bruins opened up a 14-stroke lead (338-352) over second place Mount Mercy (+64) after the first round of competition.
Iowa Western CC (+71) stands in third place with a first round team score of 359. Des Moines Area CC (+82) and Iowa Lakes CC (+82) sit tied for fourth place after posting matching scores of 370 while Graceland (+120) rounds out the field with a team score of 408.

Allison Temple and Madison Brooks both shot10-over rounds in windy conditions and sit in a tie for first place, three strokes ahead of second place Valarie Davidson (Mount Mercy).
Tylah Saifoloi and Mikayla King both find themselves near the top of the leaderboard in a three-way tie for fifth place, after carding a first round score of 87, along with Maya Northcutt (Iowa Western CC).
