Two from BU named 2015 NAIA Women’s Golf All-American

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2015 NAIA Women's Golf All-America teams, as selected by the NAIA-Women's Golf Coaches Association All-America Committee. A total of 30 student-athletes were honored, with 15 individuals being named to the first and second team.

For the third time in her career, junior Renee Santoyo has earned NAIA All-America honors in women's golf. Santoyo was named a Second Team All-American in 2013 and a First Team All-American last year. Santoyo placed in a tie for 17th at the NAIA National Championships with a 72-hole total of 307 (19-over).

Junior Charlene Dubois was named an honorable mention All-American. It is the second time Dubois has earned All-America honors after being named a Third Team All-American in 2014. Dubois placed in a tie for 30th place with a four-round total of 312 (24-over) for the tournament.

For the third straight year Bellevue had multiple golfers named to an All-America team. The Bruins placed seventh last week at the 2015 NAIA National Championships held at the Savannah Quarters Country Club in Savannah, Ga.
