NFCA All-Americans Full List

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Senior third baseman/pitcher/designated player Erin Sharpe added to her long list of honors by being named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American first team today. It marked the third time in her career she has picked up first-team NFCA All-American accolades.

Sharpe became the second Bruin in school history to garner multiple All-American honors and the first BU softball player to be named to the first team on three different occasions. Hall of Famer Lindsey Bredar (2002-05) was twice named to the NAIA All-American first team, once to the second team, and once to the honorable mention squad.

Sharpe earned her third-consecutive North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Player of the Year honor this season and her third first-team all-NSAA nod. She led the Bruins and was second nationally with 25 home runs. She also led BU with an .867 slugging percentage, a .389 batting average, and 60 RBIs. She was second on the BU squad with 18 doubles.

The 2018-19 BU Female Athlete of the Year, Sharpe finished her career with 78 home runs which ranks second all-time in NAIA history. She set school career records for the highest slugging percentage (.783), most doubles (62), most home runs (78), and total bases (581) and was second in career RBIs (227).

In the circle, Sharpe earned seven wins and finished the year with a 3.13 ERA and 73 strikeouts. She ended her four-year career with 45 wins, 356 strikeouts, 11 shutouts, and a 2.34 ERA.

Bellevue ended the 2019 season with a 44-20 overall record and a 23-5 mark in the NSAA. The Bruins finished second in both the NSAA regular season and post-season tournament, advancing to the NAIA National Tournament for the 10th time in school history.
