MADISON, S.D. -- Junior Erin Sharpe swept the weekly conference honors as she was named the North Star Athletic Association's Player and Pitcher of the week for the week ending April 1.
Sharpe batted .438 on the week, leading the Bruins to a 5-0 record, including three conference wins. In Bellevue's non-conference road sweep at College of St. Mary, Sharpe blasted three home runs, including two grand slams, while driving in 11 total runs on the day.
She has hit safely in seven-straight games and currently leads the nation with 13 home runs on the season.
In the circle, Sharpe went 4-0 on the week with two shutouts and 29 total strikeouts. She allowed just three runs in 20 innings pitched and leads the Bruins with an 11-2 record.
The Bruins will travel to Hastings, Neb. on Wed., April 4 for a 4 p.m. non-conference doubleheader at Hastings College.
