CONWAY, Ark. -- The Bellevue University softball team remained perfect in Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference action, after winning a pair of games Saturday at the MCAC South Crossover.
The Bruins shut out Oklahoma Wesleyan, 3-0, in the opener, before routing Haskell Indian Nations, 14-1, in five innings in the nightcap.
Bellevue improved to 19-8-1 on the season and 4-0 in the MCAC.
The Bruins will travel to York, Neb. on Thursday, April 2 for a 3 p.m. conference doubleheader at York College.

Taylor Mohler tossed a complete-game one-hitter and Courtney Schendt launched her third career home run to lead the Bruins to the 3-0 win in the opener.
An RBI single by Kaitlyn Goney scored Alex Tooley in the top of the second, giving the Bruins a 1-0 lead.
After Ashley Gigax drew a walk to lead off the sixth inning, a two-run homer by Schendt extended the BU advantage to 3-0.
Mariah Shepherd spoiled Mohler's no-hitter with a single in the bottom of the seventh and the Eagles drew a walk to threaten with runners on first and second and one out. Mohler, however, retired the final two batters to secure the 3-0 shutout and her 10th win of the season.
Mohler (10-5), the reigning MCAC Pitcher of the Week, struck out nine and walked five in the victory.
Bellevue 14, Haskell 1 (5 innings)
The Bruins rocketed three home runs in one inning and collected 14 hits overall en route to the 14-1 win over Haskell in the nightcap.
Michaela Miller went 2-for-4 and drove in five runs and Ashley Gigax finished 4-for-5 with four RBIs to pace the Bruin offense.
The Bruins struck early, scoring three runs on three hits in the top of the first on an RBI single by Ashley Gigax, a ground out RBI by Tooley and on a passed ball.
Kristine Kimberley drove in a run in the top of the third before the Bruins erupted for nine runs in the top of the fourth, thanks to three home runs, including a grand slam by Michaela Miller, a three-run blast by Ashley Gigax and a solo shot by Sayde Woten.
The Indians avoided the shutout, scoring on a Bruin fielding error in the bottom of the fourth after producing two singles earlier in the inning, moving the score to 13-1.
Bellevue added its 14th run in the top of the fifth on an RBI single by Miller, making the final, 14-1.
Kelli Fisher (9-2) picked up the win, scattering two hits with eight strikeouts and no walks in five innings in the circle.
