BELLEVUE, Neb. -- The Bellevue University softball team picked up a pair of one-run wins over Hastings College Tuesday evening at Hall of Fame Fields, taking the opener 1-0 before pulling out a 5-4 come-from-behind win in the nightcap.
With the wins, Bellevue improved to 27-13 while Hastings dropped to 14-21 on the season.
The Bruins will return to action on Friday, April 13 when they host fourth-ranked Central Baptist College in a 3:00 p.m. conference doubleheader.

Shelby Kindelin, this week's MCAC Player of the Week, tossed her second-straight complete game, allowing just two hits with six strikeouts, improving to 5-4 on the season, while leading the Bruins to a 1-0 victory in the opener.
The Bruins recorded the only run of the game in the fourth inning with an RBI single to right field by Katie Tew that scored Brooke Ellis who opened the inning with a walk and a stolen base.
Chrissy Lowe (5-10) took the loss for the Broncos, giving up one run on six hits with four strikeouts.

Game 2 - Bellevue 5, Hastings 4
The Bruins came back from a four-run deficit to post a 5-4 win in the nightcap. Amanda Neumann blasted her 10th home run of the season and Ellis recorded the game-winning hit to highlight the comeback.
Hastings scored four runs on six hits, fueled by a three-run double by Molly Mullervy in the top of the third inning.
The Bruins responded in the bottom half of the third with Neumann's three-run home run.
BU tied the game at 4-all with a sacrifice fly by Katie Malloy in the fifth inning before Ellis' RBI single scored Kim Wees in the sixth.
Neumann improved in 10-5 this season pitching 4.2 scoreless innings in relief. MacKenzie Welchert suffered the loss and dropped to 7-7 for HC.
