Four Bruins earn Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes recognition

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Four student-athletes from the Bellevue University men's soccer team have been recognized by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics as Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Nate Fibich, Max Lambert, Lucas Milhomen, and Tibor Stankovic were each recognized for their academic achievements.

In order to be eligible to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at said institution.

Bellevue wrapped up the 2022 season 7-11-3 overall but hit their stride down the stretch to win their third-straight CAC Tournament Championship, reaching the NAIA National Tournament for the third-straight season and fourth time in five years.
