ABERDEEN, S.D. -- Three different Bruins scored and three others added assists as the Bellevue University men's soccer team remained unbeaten in North Star Athletic Association play with a 3-0 victory at Presentation College on Saturday afternoon.

The Bruins started early with a fifth minute goal from sophomore Daniel Coupland. Freshman Lamine Doumbia recorded the assist on Coupland's first career game-winner and third goal of the season.

Bellevue doubled their edge in the 23rd minute when junior David Goolsby found the back of the net off a pass from senior Alan Carr. The goal was the first of the season for Goolsby.

Sophomore Rob Smith put the game out of reach with his 59th minute strike. Freshman Travis Hurd assisted on the insurance goal, the third of the campaign for Smith.

Junior Ben Martin and sophomore Daniel Lastra combined for the clean sheet, the sixth of the year for the Bruins, with Martin stopping the lone shot he faced.

Bellevue out-shot Presentation 25-3 (14-1 on goal) and out-gained the host Saints in corner kicks, 8-0.

The 15th-ranked Bruins (8-2-3/2-0-1 NSAA) return to the pitch for a 7 p.m. match at Hastings College on Tuesday. The match will be a rematch of last season's NAIA Opening Round contest which the Bruins won 2-0 to advance to their second NAIA National Tournament Final Site.
