HASTINGS, Neb. -- The 23rd-ranked Bellevue University men's soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw with No. 20 Hastings College Wednesday night in nonconference action.
The Broncos' AJ Dingledine scored off a crossing pass from Tim Krueger in the game's ninth minute to open the night's scoring.
Senior Milan Ivanovic tied the game on free kick after a Hastings' foul with just over seven minutes remaining in regulation.
Neither team could score in the two overtime periods as both squads collected their first ties of the season.
Junior Sebastian Narvaez was impressive in goal, recording a season-high eight saves, including one in the second overtime period.
Hastings held a 17-6 advantage in shots and a 9-2 edge in shots on goal in the match.
Bellevue (4-1-1) will be back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 22, when they host St. Ambrose at 2 p.m. at Tranquility Park.
