Sultan Toles-Bey is entering his first season under Bruin head coach Shane Paben.
As a student-athlete at Sacramento State, the Los Angeles native started at both shooting guard and point guard for the Hornets from 2009-11. During the 2010-11 season Toles-Bey ranked among the Big Sky leaders in minutes (1st), assists (2nd), steals (2nd), and free throw percentage (7th).
Toles-Bey’s collegiate career began at Fresno City College where he was the Central Valley Conference MVP and California Community College Player of the Year in 2009. He was a California State All-Tournament Team selection and California State Champion in 2007.
Toles-Bey received his bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Sacramento State. Toles-Bey is currently working on his master’s degree in Management at Bellevue University.
