POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- For the second time this season and the third time in his career, junior James Parrott has been named the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 1. 

Parrott averaged 26.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.0 steals and 2.0 blocks per game last week in leading the ninth-ranked Bruins to a pair of wins at the Rocky Mountain College Classic.  In an 89-72 win over Carroll College, he had a career-high 35 points, connecting on 6-of-10 three-point field goals.

Bellevue is 10-4 this season and ranked No. 9 in the latest NAIA national poll. The Bruins will battle Missouri Baptist College at 5:30 p.m. tonight in the opening game of the McDonald's Cam Jam Classic on the campus of College of the Ozarks.
