JAMESTOWN, N.D. -- For the fourth time in five meetings this season the Bellevue University baseball team defeated the University of Jamestown _-_ on Saturday afternoon in a Winner's Bracket game in the North Star Athletic Association Tournament at the Jimmies' Jack Brown Stadium.
Jamestown sees their record dip to 40-8 and will face Valley City State later today for the right to play Bellevue with a spot in the NSAA Championship Game on the line.
Bellevue improves to 35-21 and will take on the winner of Jamestown-Valley City State tomorrow at 11 a.m. to play for a spot in the NSAA Championship Game. The Bruins would have to win once while either Jamestown or Valley City would be required to beat the Bruins twice to reach the Title Game.

Four home runs backed a solid outing by BU starter Reid Feeley as Bellevue sent Jamestown to an elimination game against Valley City State with a 13-4 win over the Jimmies on Saturday.
The Jimmies jumped ahead early on a two-run homer by Tyler Ludlow in the first but Bellevue responded with a two-run frame in the second on a wild pitch and Diego Iribarren RBI-single.
Stuart Eurich gave Bellevue the lead in the third with a long two-run home run to center field in the third.
JT Patterson added an RBI-single in the fifth to push the Bruin lead to 5-2 but Jamestown got that run back, trimming the BU lead to two, with a run in the sixth on a Bellevue error.
Patterson picked up another RBI-single to kick-start BU's five run seventh inning. With two outs Travis Tanaka singled off the pitcher's mound while the throw from second allowed to runners to score before Austin Alexander hit a pinch-hit two run home run over the right field wall.
Drake Pilat got one run back for the Jimmies in the bottom of the seventh with a two-out shot to left.
Long balls from Kory Longaker and Gary Dixon stretched the Bruin lead to 13-4 in the eighth.
Reid Feeley (7-2) earned the win with seven effective innings of work in which he limited Jamestown to four runs (three were earned) on eight hits and struck out five.
Brandon Desjardins came on to throw a pair of scoreless innings to finish off the Bruin victory.
Shane Groth (5-2) took the loss for the Jimmies. He went six-plus innings, allowing six runs (five were earned) on eight hits and struck out three.
