Kinman Game-by-Game Statistics
POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- For the second time this season and third time in his Bruin career, Bellevue University senior Kyle Kinman was named the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference's Pitcher of the Week.
Kinman picked up the win in Bellevue's 4-3 victory at York College on April 6. He recorded 13 strikeouts and gave up just five hits in eight innings. He also batted .364 with a double and two home runs last week.
Kinman is 5-2 with 84 strikeouts and a 1.95 ERA in 55.1 innings of work. At the plate, he's batting .376 with 13 doubles, two triples, five home runs, 37 RBIs and 10 stolen bases.
He ranks fourth in the country in strikeouts per nine innings (13.6) and sixth in strikeouts (84). Kinman's 22 strikeouts at College of the Ozarks on March 15 is the most in the NAIA this season.
The 17th-ranked Bruins (22-12-2, 10-6 MCAC) will travel to Orange City, Iowa tomorrow (April 8) for a 5:00 p.m. nonconference contest at Northwestern (Iowa) College.
