YORK, Neb. -- A three-run sixth inning lifted York College to a 4-3 win against the Bellevue University baseball team Friday afternoon in the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament.

The final championship game between these two schools will be played at approximately 4:30 p.m. at Levitt Stadium. 

The loss dropped BU to 30-20 overall this season, while the Panthers improved to 39-13.

YC opened the scoring with a first inning RBI single by Pat Burford that allowed Kris Little to score who reached base on an error by Bruins' third baseman Spencer Duggan. 

The Bruins tied the game at 1-1 in the bottom of the fourth on a RBI double by Tylor Pavel that scored Anthony Bazant from second base.

BU added two runs in the fifth inning on a double to right center field by Junior Martinez.

The Panthers scored three runs in the sixth inning to win, 4-3. YC scored on bases loaded walks to Little and Jeff Bernacil and took the lead on a wild pitch by Robert Greco that allowed Travis Gibson to score from third.

Zack DeValle took the loss for the Bruins, allowing three earned runs in 5.2 innings of work. Keaton Holland improved to 6-1 on the season with a complete game.
