LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- The brackets for the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) men's and women's soccer were announced Monday morning. The Bellevue University men's team is the No. 2 seed in the men's tournament while the BU women's team is the No. 3 seed in the women's tournament.

Bellevue, members of the North Star Athletic Association, are competing in the A.I.I. Tournament as the NSAA does not have enough soccer-playing schools to stage their own tournament.

The men's team will be the first to play on Friday with a 1 p.m. match against Waldorf, whom they defeated this past Saturday by a 2-0 score. The Bruins are 8-7-1 overall and won their fourth-straight regular-season title with a perfect 4-0-0 mark in league play.

The women's side plays their first match at 7 p.m. against Jamestown, who edged BU 1-0 back on Oct. 14. Bellevue is 11-4-0 overall and went 3-1-0 in NSAA regular-season play.

Both tournaments will be played at the Grizzly Soccer Complex on the campus of host school Georgia Gwinnett College.

All matches can be viewed on the Grizzly Digital Network at http://www.grizzlyathletics.com/GDN.php.

The tournament champions will represent the A.I.I. in the NAIA National Tournament slated to begin on Saturday, Nov. 18 at campus sites.
