
SIOUX CENTER, Iowa -- The Bellevue University women's soccer team conceded multiple goals for the first time this season in suffering 2-1 defeat at Dordt University on Saturday afternoon.

Karinna Tel staked Dordt to a 1-0 lead in the game's 13th minute, scoring off a pass from Jori Bronner.
Under five minutes into the second half, Tel set up Bronner for the Defenders' second goal of the match.
Sami Reding answered just 2:46 later, scoring her seventh goal in the 53rd minute, taking a pass from Ximena Jauregui and beating keeper Hailey DeWitt.
Jenn Amaro totaled six saves for Bellevue in the loss.
DeWitt recorded five saves for Dordt, who out-shot Bellevue 17-9 on the afternoon.
After allowing two-or-more goals in 10 games a season ago, this was just the first time this season in which BU failed to hold their opposition to one-or-fewer.
